What is a good drawing tablet for an artist?

Hello All!

I'm looking into buying a tablet. I have about $475 (350euros) saved up for it. I've heard Wacom tablets are really good.

So far the two that I like the most is the Intuos3 and the Intuos4 by Wacom. Any opinions on either of those? Could someone help me decide what type and model? :p

What kind of tablet do digital artists recommend the most?

i like the new MDS I to V portraits.
